Teletherapy Company To Drive Conversations On Mental Health Wellbeing And Equal Representation of Women in Tech Careers With Women Community.

Lagos, NG: Today, Nguvu Health LLC., an on-demand teletherapy company providing easy access to therapy and mental wellbeing for Africans — home and abroad — announces partnership with She Code Africa, the largest non-profit community focused on celebrating and empowering young girls and women in tech across Africa. This partnership seeks to drive conversation, raise awareness, provide education, support and access to the mental wellbeing of the She Code Africa community.

Through free informational wellness sessions facilitated by Clinical Psychologists, and discounts of mental health support services like therapy that will be provided to the SCA community, equal representation of women across all career roles in Technology would be fostered. She Code Africa moves with a vision to have an Africa where women are equally represented across all career roles in Technology and a mission to build a community that embodies technical growth, networking, mentorship, and visibility amongst all level career roles in Technology. A feat that can only be achieved by seeking clarity and mental wellness first.

Via a tweet, the CEO of @Nguvu Health, Josh Koya expressed his excitement about the partnership. Taking to Twitter, he said ‘Helen Keller said, “…alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.” This is why I am excited about our partnerships with intentional communities like @SheCodeAfrica who care about their members. With them and more, we can reach and offer value to millions.’

Nguvu Health was founded by Josh Koya and co-founded by Juliet Odumosu and Tolu Ogunjuigbe in Lagos, Nigeria in April 2021.
