Nguvu Health Announce Integration of Thepeer into the Nguvu Health App to Improve Access to Teletherapy by Overcoming Payment and Network Hassles
Nguvu Health, a leading provider of mental health care and therapy for Africans — home and abroad- through the Nguvu Health App, and Thepeer, a technology infrastructure enabling fast, direct and efficient transactions between businesses and platforms, today announced the availability of an integration between the two development environments. This integration will improve access to teletherapy by making it easy for customers to fund their Nguvu wallet or pay for teletherapy.
The direct connection between Nguvu Health, and Thepeer’s payment API allows users of the Nguvu Health App to optimize therapy through quick payment options.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted critical mental health services in 93% of countries, particularly in Africa, at the same time as the demand for mental health programs is increasing, according to a new WHO survey. As technology is being simulated in health to improve access to mental health, issues like network fluctuation and payment limitations inhibit access to therapy.
With the integration of Thepeer into the Nguvu Health App, users are able to make payment for therapy from any existing external wallets or business accounts registered on Thepeer. This adds to the already existing payment options to pay with either a bank card or coin.
